Follow the regimen on http://acne.org/. I always had horrible acne and I’ve been on the regimen for almost 3 months. My skin is now almost completely clear, there’s just a few red spots from old acne. There are a lot of different products recommended on the site. I personally use the Basis Sensitive Skin soap bar, Dan’s benzoyl peroxide treatment gel (you can order it from the website), and Cetaphil Moisturizer with SPF15. I don’t think the products you choose make much of a difference, because I used Neutrogena On-the-Spot for the first month and a half of the regimen (I hated On-the-Spot though – it’s really thick and shows up white on your face, plus it’s really expensive).
You have to follow the regimen EXACTLY or it won’t work. BTW, it doesn’t clear your face overnight, so give it time. My pimples got smaller within the first week, and started to go away by the third week. Right now I’m on the 11th week and my skin is almost completely clear. Also change your pillowcase everyday because the oil and bacteria from your face will stay on it (it explains this more on the website). Try not to miss any days of treating your face with the regimen because you’ll just breakout again (the most I ever missed with no new pimples showing up was 2).
BTW, there’s no cure for acne, only treatment. So you’re going to have to stay on the regimen even after your face is clear or your acne will come back. Good luck!

Acne is a skin disorder which is the result of hormonal imbalance and some substances like the sebaceous glands and hair follicles.
Acne is also known by different names such as zits or pimples. These factors clog the pores and the result is acne.
This is mainly found on the various parts of the body such as back, face, shoulders, neck and chest.
This is not treated as a serious health threat but it is considered as a source of emotional distress for some people. Some acne can even cause permanent scarring on the affected areas.
    Causes of Acne
The cause of acne is unknown but there are some factors which lead to acne. One of the major causes of acne is increase in hormones known as androgens.
This is caused in both boys and girls during the period of puberty and makes the sebaceous glands enlarge and creates more sebum. Another cause of acne is heredity which can be inherited from parents.
    Types of Acne
There are various types of acne and they are:-
    Acne Rosacea
    Acne Cosmetica
    Acne Vulgaris
    Acne Fulminans
    Acne Keloidalis Nuchae
    Acne Chloracne
    Acne Medicamentosa
Factors that can make Acne Worse
There are various factors which makes the acne worse and they are:-
Oil obtained from skin products like cosmetics or moisturizers or grease while working in a kitchen
Changing hormone levels in adult women and adolescent girls 2-7 days before their menstrual period starts
    Stress
Environmental irritants like high humidity and pollution
    Hard scrubbing of the skin
Pressure from tight collars, sports equipment or helmets and tight sports uniforms
    Treatment of Acne
Acne is treated by dermatologists. The main goal of the treatment is to stop new lesions from forming, heal existing lesions, minimize the psychological embarrassment and stress and prevents scarring.
Treatment for Whiteheads, Blackheads and Mild Inflammatory Acne
People suffering from mild acne can use over the counter or prescription topical medicine to treat acne. This medicine is available in various forms like lotions, gels, pads, soaps and creams.
This medicine can be applied directly on the affected areas with acne. There are some side effects also with the use of this medicine such as burning, skin irritation or redness. Some of over the counter topical medicines are:-
    Resorcinol
This is helpful in breaking down the whiteheads and blackheads.
    Benzoyl Peroxide
It is helpful in reducing production of oil and destroys the bacteria P.acnes.
    Sulfur
It breaks down the whiteheads and blackheads.
    Salicylic Acid
It also eliminates the shedding of cells which are under the hair follicles.
Treatment of Moderate and Severe Inflammatory Acne
This type of acne can be treated with prescription topical medicines like Antibiotics, Retinoids, Tetracycline, Doxycycline and Minocycline and oral medicines like Erythromycin, Clindamycin and Sulfonamides. Some acne is severe which requires a long term treatment like surgery.
There are some surgical treatments such as Dermabrasion or Microdermabrasion, Laser therapy such as Intense Pulsed Light therapy and many more. There are various home remedies also for treating acne which is 100 percent natural and does not contain any artificial preservatives which can reduce acne and acne scars naturally without any pain.

I`m an esthetician at a spa and we have numerous people coming in with acne. There is an amazing line of skin care products and they have acne treatments. You can go one of two ways with their products (or we recommend you do both)
The products are G.M collin and they have a 3 step acne kit.
You start with the gel which is basically a cleanser and you put it on damp skin and let it emulsify then pat dry your face. After that you put on the acne complex, which is a spot treater so you just put it on the affected areas. Youll want to let that sit for a minute or two, so you could brush your teeth during this time or do your hair if its morning. Following the acne complex you use another gel, but this one you don`t rinse off.
    Following this will:
for mild acne – clear up what you have in about a week to a week and a half and also help to keep you acne free
moderate to severe – people usually see a lot of improvement with the smaller blemishes within 2-3 weeks, and the bigger blemishes usually in 4-6
You can also buy the Puracne Derm Renewal Gel however, since it is starting to get warmer out and it makes your skin more sensitive to the sun, I wouldn`t recommend it until next fall.
Now, we also do acne facials, and I know many others do as well. For ours, which are products by GM collin again, you would have the initial consultation and then 5 consecutive facial appointments about a week a part. This is quite a bit more expensive, each facial is 89.00 dollars at my work and you would be doing 5, however people come in with severe acne and it is one of the quickest and most effective ways to get rid of acne. Most of my clients acne is literally gone after the 5 weeks, and if they have a couple more, I usually give them a promo bottle of the GM collin acne complex to combat them.
if you have any questions feel free to ask me!
    hope I helped

well it depends on where you have them if they are visible take toilet paper and squeeze the area with the blackheads as hard as you can. it may hurt like a ***** but it works… then after that to prevent it again while the pores are open use acne treatment so it will cleanse your pores

Yes. A consistent daily regimen for fighting acne will condition your skin against future breakouts.
    Ensure that you’re:
-Washing no more than twice a day.
    - Drinking 8 glasses of water a day
    - Using a Glycerin based acne cleanser
    - Not touching your skin with your fingers directly
    - Not eating excess amounts of sugar

Stay away from the chemicals that dry your face out. They seem to do more harm than good and caused me great irritation. I used the info in the ebook below after seeing this guy on fox news. It’s a natural way that didn’t clear mine up in 3 days like the site states, but within a week there was a noticeable difference.
