Recommendations For Text On African-american Make-up Techniques And Skin Care?

November 19, 2009 by Phil

I have never been very into make-up or application techniques, but i would like to develop some skills. can anyone recommend a book, products for darker skinned african-american women, and/or skin care techniques for oily skin? I know the basics…wash in the am and pm, tone or astringent, moisturize…but i am looking for recommendations of product lines or products ingredients to look for or avoid.

I went to amazon.com to see if they had any good books – there is one user named “divastate” and she has created a list of books specifically geared to african-american skin.
The list has 23 books on makeup and skincare.
Each book has reviews written by readers, so I think this may be really helpful to you.
