What Are The Best Acne Treatments For Me?

Ok, so I started a regime that seemed to work, but every once in a while I break out [about once a month].
What have you found to be the best ‘zit zapper’?
I have tried toothpaste, ice, honey, baking soda, and salt, all to no avail.
Any face masks that you love [that I can make with basic ingredients]?
Any quick treatments that you swear by? [again, something I can make easily]
When I get a pimple it is always bad, so even if there aren’t a lot, they are noticeable. I had severe acne in the 2nd grade, it has become mild acne more recently [going into 9th], but once a month, every month I break out. Both of my parents had acne, so it is genetic; I am stressed a lot and have sleep problems, so it is environmental; and it is hormonal.
Thank you

FOR NOW I’d say … use this :
I know acne is depressing
a small amount of sugar in a cup for scrubbing
a small amount of honey and some oatmeal flakes(to soothe)… scrub your face with these. and rinse
Next use an astringent like that “seabreeze?” stuff… or lemon juice on a cotton ball. then rinse again.
Lastly… this is a trick many models use…
break an ibuprofen in half (or use a whole one) …put a few drops of water in your hand and then dip the pill in the water and rub on each blemish… to kind of make a paste on the blemish . let this sit for about 5 minutes. This trick will get rid of the redness! Make sure you rinse this off too.
Hope this helps
Technically, you inherit your skin type that is predisposed towards developing acne, but in any case: the best treatments for you were properly developed by modern medicine, not putting random things on your face.
Toothpaste is highly abrasive and will cause more inflammation, worsening acne. Baking soda does the same. Salt does the same. Ice damages skin cells, forcing blood to the area to repair it (increasing inflammation).
You need to go to a dermatologist if it’s serious, and listen to their advice. The medicine they prescribe you may not work. They’ll change it something else. That may not work. They’ll change it again. Eventually they will find something that works for -your- body.
Edit: In response your clarification. Accutane is the one drug that worked for me. It has a lot of unpleasant common and a few very rare, but very serious, side effects. It is -highly- controlled, especially if you’re a woman.
The government controls it with an iPledge program. You have to promise to use two forms of birth control (it causes terrible birth defects), call a 1-800 number to answer monthly questions about your sex life, and get monthly blood tests to make sure it isn’t damaging your liver.
Accutane is really rough on your body. It dried my lips out (even now, 2+ years after being on it, they’re still dry a lot), gave me dandruff (which I still combat), and makes your muscles/bones sore if you lift weights at all.
But it completely got rid of my acne, pretty much permanently. There are trade-offs, risks involved, etc. Talk to your doctor about it. Most of them will insist you try other prescription medicines–less risky ones–before trying Accutane.
Hi
If you really want to cure your acne there are two recommended solutions that should combined together (if you can afford it) for best results.
Firstly and more important in my opinion, you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that’s causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.
There are only few decent Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to cure your acne from the inside.
Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their programs they share their valuable knowledge with other acne sufferers. Anyhow, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.

The second thing that you need to do is to get good acne skin product that will be suitable for your skin.
There are hundreds of acne skin care products available in the market in these days and it’s not easy to choose the product that will give you the best results.
When choosing your product make sure to check that you get at least 2 months full guarantee. Some of the big names in the industry are:
ClearPores, Acuzine, Acnezine, Proactiv, Vilante and some others.
In my experience Clearpores cleansing system work very well. Check this website to learn a lot more about this great system:http://clear-pore.info
I hope that these tips will be helpful for you
I’ve been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it’s at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I’m 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.
Literally the best acne face wash I’ve ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It’s unique cause of it’s herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.
You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn’t work it will still save you butt on the return policy.
Well good luck and best wishes.
